The Season is Nearly Upon Us
With the new indoor seson nearly upon us all as our attention turns from the outdoor to the indoor many of the clubs in Middlesex will be opening in early September ready for the season ahead. Some bowlers from Middlesex will already have been indoors getting ready for the first big weekend of indoors bowls competitions, the PBA qualifiers.
Playing at the Leicester qualifiers are John Donaghue Jnr (Jack Hi IBC), Dave Pitt (Hounslow IBC) and Malcolm Jacobs (Bounds Green IBC). Playing at Poole in Dorset are Pat Briscoe (Mansfield IBC) and Ian Streames (Jack Hi IBC).
Both qualifiers take place on Saturday September 4th with all our bowlers in action during the day. For further information go to www.worldbowls.info/pba on how to get to the venues to support our boys.
